UDA-SQL-0532 Data Source is not accessible

Problem:

1. ERROR

DM-DBM-0402 UDA driver reported the following:

 

UDA-SQL-0031 Unable to access the "ALIAS_<alpha_numeric_string>" database.

 

UDA-SQL-0532 Data Source is not accessible: "<ODBC_Connection_Name>".

 

[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified

2. ERROR

DM-DBM-0306 UDA driver error connecting to 'ALIAS_<alpha_numeric_string>'.

 

Cause: 

This errror can occur if Data Manager is unable to access ODBC connection. Try to ensure that the given ODBC connection is available and accessible to all user.

Solution:

• Check whether the ODBC Connection is available. Check this article for ODBC Connection.
• Create new ODBC connection if it is not available. Check this article for step by step guide to create a new ODBC Connection.
• Check the accessibility of ODBC connection if it already created.
